Future Leaders Alliance (FLA) invites high school, college, and vocational students across the United States to join our Student Volunteer Program. This opportunity is designed for young people who want to develop leadership skills, gain practical experience, complete community-service hours, and contribute to meaningful programs.
Whether volunteering remotely or within your community, you will work alongside other passionate young people committed to leadership, entrepreneurship, education, and positive social change.
Volunteer Roles
Depending on your interests and skills, you may:
- Support youth leadership workshops and community events.
- Assist with FLA High School Clubs and entrepreneurship programs.
- Research scholarships, grants, internships, and youth opportunities.
- Create social media content, graphics, photographs, and videos.
- Help recruit students, schools, volunteers, and community partners.
- Support fundraising campaigns and donation drives.
- Write articles, newsletters, and educational materials.
- Assist with event registration and participant communication.
- Collect feedback and help prepare brief program reports.
- Serve as an FLA youth ambassador at your school or in your community.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants should:
- Be enrolled in high school, college, or a vocational program in the United States.
- Be interested in leadership, community service, entrepreneurship, or youth development.
- Demonstrate reliability, respect, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
- Have access to a phone or computer for virtual assignments.
- Obtain parental or guardian consent if under 18 years old.
Previous volunteer experience is not required. Training and guidance will be provided.
Commitment Details
Volunteers are expected to serve for approximately three to five hours per week for a minimum of three months. Activities may be completed remotely, in person, or through a hybrid arrangement, depending on the assigned role and location.
Schedules are flexible and designed to accommodate school, examinations, employment, and other responsibilities. Volunteers should attend orientation, communicate regularly with their coordinator, complete assigned responsibilities, and participate in at least one virtual team meeting each month.
All participants must follow FLA policies relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, professional conduct, respectful communication, and responsible use of organizational information.
